Our goal is to train clinical scholars who will enter career paths that include subspecialty patient care and academic activities such as teaching and clinical research. Accreditation

The Gastroenterology Fellowship fulfills the requirements for training as stated by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

Certification

You will be eligible to take the American Board of Internal Medicine subspecialty examination in gastroenterology upon successful completion of the fellowship.

Program history

The Gastroenterology Fellowship began in 1998, and since that time more than 25 physicians have completed training. It is anticipated that two fellows will complete training annually.
